As the 2010 elections near, Organizing for America volunteers across the country are joining together to help elect candidates who support the Presidents agenda by engaging the voters who came out for the first time in 2008.

On June 5th volunteers in all 50 states will begin to reach out to these voters by having a conversation with their friends and neighbors about the importance of this upcoming election. Here in Florida we will be holding canvasses and phonebanks in communities throughout the state to talk with first time 2008 voters about supporting our candidate for Governor, Alex Sink. Come join local Organizing for America volunteers as well as Governor candidate Alex Sink at UCF as we talk to our friends and neighbors about the importance of supporting Alex Sink for Governor and of coming out to vote in 2010. No prior experience is necessary and a brief voter contact training will be provided for all attendees so please come out and join us at the Student Union room 316 with our very special guest Alex Sink!
