Why College Democrats?

We are just as much a social organization as we are a club of activism. Joining the College Democrats will introduce you to new and unprecedented experiences; connecting and linking you to work and internship opportunities, philanthropy opportunities, and to colleagues you will have as friends for the rest of your life. Our activities as an organization range from trips to Washington D.C. and Virginia, to camping, to participating in neighborhood clean ups.

Getting Involved

We conduct our weekly meetings every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Student Union building in room 218. Also, every week the College Democrats can be found at a table outside of the Student Union from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesdays. Becoming a Member

To be considered an active member of the College Democrats a $20 dollar due for the semester is required. After dues are paid, among other things, you will receive our blue and white club shirt along with our black and gold Knights for Obama t-shirt. Dues paying members enjoy a plethora of benefits such as priority on trips and events, occasional free merchandise, and the power to vote on specific issues that concern the club.
